Poverty is the base of every crisis. When poverty develops, it is not only restricted to lack of money but the problems that come thereafter due to lack of money. UN describes poverty as whoever lives under $1.25 a day is poor. This is international standard and according to this low income countries suffer with multidimensional poverty at around '30%' of total population or even more. Countries who try to escape criticism often produce their own irrational standards for poverty. A study of Millennium development goals by UN stated that even with a 'plan' the number of people living under poverty increased in 30 countries. The research group, Development Initiatives has noted that the goal of ENDING poverty by 2030 in South Asia will prove more challenging than halving poverty globally. The political instability enforces the poor to suffer and not only that but incapacitate the organisations especially the NPO ones thus causing them to be defunct.
Solution:
First of all a serious and strong commitment is required of the respective nations to eradicate poverty. Unanimous approval on long term solutions and policies is urgently required. Secondly absolutely no leeway must be acceptable to adjust the poverty definitions and furthermore implementing social protection system for all. Ensuring equal rights to economic resources for everybody and providing proper protectionism of the poor in case of CLIMATE CHANGES. UN brings out sustainable development goals for countries which draws out the whole plan on how to deal with and end this problem in a particular time period, so this is one of the solution. Lastly employment would certainly bring about the change. The manifesto that needs to be understood and worked upon is quite large and needs immediate action.
