Climatic disaster is a more of natural occurrence but the point that inspired this to be mentioned here is the part humans as a whole play to encourage these kinds of natural phenomenon. The Paris Agreement on Climate Action-signed by 200 countries in the world was about designing the proper framework on implementing the initiatives of controlling inordinate climatic changes and effectively stopping the harmful waste gas emissions in the air. The lucrative restaurants and infrastructure ( mainly apartments ) are built in the areas that are most vulnerable to floods. Deforestation is the biggest source of landslides and floods. The increase in the average temperature of the earth that caused the glaciers of Antarctica to melt was due to the carbon emissions and other deleterious gases that cause significant detrimental effect to the ozone which disrupts the natures system. This inversely comes back to us and causes adverse effects in the form of various disasters. Then it costs countries heavy price which is approximately equal to 10% of GDP. Japan the country most vulnerable to natural disasters is under debt of 300% of GDP and this is chiefly due to their expenditure at the sites that were unfortunately caught in the midst of destruction.
Solution:
The countries ahead in science and technological research are constantly trying to improve the climate of the world as a whole and to take proper actions to halt further deterioration of nature and atmosphere. Most importantly what needs to be clarified is the investments in local social and physical infrastructure is required to reduce climate vulnerabilities. UK has closed all its coal powered industries, as it had apprehended the environmental damages.Henceforth every country must promote and increase greenery especially those where in the name of development greenery is erased. With mangroves being cut down for the sake of beautiful buildings, it will make us immensely susceptible to destruction. Hence protectionism of mangroves is a must.
