MARINE DESTRUCTION
Marine Life has long existed before humans came into action to disrupt their peaceful lives. As I discussed in the previous topic "POLLUTION" that hundreds of underwater mammals wash up dead or in the case of dolphins blind ashore. Recently the chemical Waste dumping in Australia caused Sharks and Whales to die and carcasses washing ashore. The developments on Coastlines are becoming negative externalities for the seas and oceans. The development projects to enhance the respective countries has to be undertaken with extreme precaution to maintain the ecological balance, the safety of biodiversity lies therein. The tradition of catching humongous numbers of fish for living has substantially reduced the fish species and endangered many, this catch is constantly causing distress to the marine scientists as their woes are not heard. Ocean breeze that cools down the temperature is also becoming inefficient as the world saw 12000 people dying in India and Pakistan alone due to HEAT. The increase in the temperature of ocean is not only a threat to Humans but anomalies have been rooted in marine life.
Solution:
Action on serious note is required to establish a regulatory framework, joining international organisations for modern research and effective monitoring of the marine life for the countries that have affected their seas the most. The fishermen and fisheries must be licensed to avoid any act of over fishing. The organisations such as World Wildlife fund and International Union are working for conservation of nature, hence their support is the prerequisite for Marine revival. Lastly, the direct damage should be diminished in order to normalise the once beautiful nature.
